Job Summary:
As a Service Technician at Central City Toyota, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and effective running of our service department. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, providing exceptional customer service, and adhering to safety protocols at all times. This is a fast-paced and challenging role that requires excellent technical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong dedication to providing customers with top-notch service.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs
- Perform routine maintenance services, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and troubleshoot vehicle problems
- Communicate with customers to understand their concerns and provide updates on the status of their vehicles
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized work environment at all times
- Keep accurate records of repairs and services performed
- Continuously update knowledge of new vehicle technologies and repair techniques
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician
- ASE certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
- Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals and schematics
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends if needed
