Under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the Director of Operations supervises, directs, and monitors non-clinical activities for the purpose of attaining organizational goals and objectives. Contributes to the achievement of established department goals and objectives and adheres to department policies, procedures, quality standards, and safety standards.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, health administration, public health or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a health care or managed care setting required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of recent leadership or progressive supervisory experience required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare and/or managed care principles, computer systems, and claims databases.
• Current Michigan Driver’s license required with demonstrated ability to adhere to State of Michigan driving laws, evidenced by maintaining an insurable driving record in accordance with CCH commercial auto insurance carrier required.
• Experience working for a non-profit organization, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC), HRSA or public/community health agencies preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma and project management experience preferred.

Pay: Up to $120,000.00 per year
