Central Business Solutions is Hiring a Product Owner Near Pittsburgh, PA
Location: Pittsburgh, PA.
Works with business owners, architects, product management, Q&R and software leaders contributing to vision and program backlog, preparing for program increment planning, and streamlining the execution of program priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features or components for the respective team(s) throughout the product life cycle.
- Contributes to and reviews program vision, roadmap, and content presentations
- Prepares and participates in release planning, contributes to program increment planning, program
- backlog refinement, and preparation / prioritization of portfolio backlogs to continuously synthesize into program backlog and then to team backlog.
- Drafts the team's specific objectives for the program increment
- Defines iterations and stories for the team(s). Builds, edits, reviews, and reprioritizes the team(s) backlog coordinating dependencies with other POs
- Has the primary responsibility for maintaining the story flow, possibly embedded in the agile team(s).
- Defines stories and provides input for user story details and priorities, establishes story acceptance criteria, accepts stories into the baseline / the final iteration plan.
- Supports team(s) with their story estimates and sequencing.
- Facilitates and leads sprint planning and refinement sessions
- May define functional and non-functional requirements as well as the user interface. Identifies gaps between current system and business/market needs
- Coordinates with other product owners on content dependencies
- Manages content deliverables and dependencies to external suppliers
- Facilitates inter-team dependencies in the respective sprints
- Participates in team demo and retrospectives.
- Works with other product owners to produce the system demo, delivers system demo for his scope to the business owner and product management team
- Ensure validation of the system with the client
- Participate in test case refinement and reviews.
- 5 years' experience as a Product owner
- Experience in any search engine Endeca, LucidWorks is a Plus
- Have experience with roadmaps and mind mapping
- Have experience working on cloud projects
- Experience working across multiple IT divisions
- Have experience identifying gaps in projects
- Have experience working in Agile environment
- Working experience in Hybris/Informatica, Data flow is a plus
