We’re seeking a future team member in the role of Senior Vice President, Technology Product Owner to join our Markets/Securities Finance Software Engineering team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA - HYBRID.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Lead requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and end users to ensure the successful implementation of solutions. 
  • Develop expertise in the applications supported to be able to troubleshoot issues and suggest enhancements. 
  • Proactively identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to streamline workflows, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and innovative mindset.
  • Experience in working in Agile environments and familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
  • Bachelor's degree in business or technical-related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree preferred.
  • 10-12 years of experience in providing consulting advice to senior IT and business management required, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.

Provides technical leadership in a specific business domain within a line of business. Serves in a cross-program role to ensure quality of the deliverables within their areas of expertise and drives innovation and strategic solutions within global, mission-critical, large-scale programs. Provides expertise for a specific domain within a line of business. 

Directs and assists team to elicit, challenge, and prioritize requirements, translate into functional design and use case models. Manages the project scope, objectives, constraints and assumptions for a large, strategic, multi-year program. Provides guidance in development of the technical design, test plans, and user documentation. Leads implementation/conversion strategy planning and implementation. Manages scope and change throughout the initiative utilizing formal change control and requirements traceability. 

Gathers and analyzes information and provides recommendations to address strategic business objectives that span multiple, global business and technology areas. Participates in industry forums and keeps current on domain knowledge for their specific business and application areas of expertise. Applies experiences with existing software and/or systems development processes to define and collect metrics and develop better processes to be used in the future.

 Actively influences software and/or systems development process improvement initiatives. Sets product vision, defines the solution scope and responsible for creating backlog, epics and validating requirements. Sets business strategy by working with business and stakeholders and shares the requirements with the team. Responsible for a particular product and works to grow it from its inception to matured state with the right vision. Contributes to the achievement of related area objectives.
