Job Title: Front Office Administrative Assistant
Summary: The ideal candidate will be able to effectively provide administrative and patient care support. They will assist in coordinating patient flow throughout the clinic by checking in patients, scheduling appointments, answering phone calls and managing physician schedules. Must be motivated, organized and able to multi task.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following :
· Perform all necessary administrative duties including answering, screening, and routing of phone calls.
· Schedule appointments and verify insurance.
· Take appropriate messages and ensure the proper delivery of those messages.
· Provide stellar customer service by phone and email.
· Respond to patient questions or concerns about their symptoms and/or treatment by working with physicians to ensure that patient’s needs are met.
· Assist the doctors and patients with ensuring that their medications have been approved and filled by the pharmacies.
· Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
