Cell Biologics is a growing biotech that manufactures and sells cultured cells and cells related products to research laboratories and pharma companies around the world. We are seeking an experienced and motivated senior research specialist. This position involves the culturing of cells to increase the company’s product offerings. Also required is the ability to implement new and existing methods/techniques to generate cells and test them to ensure cell culture quality control as well as performance of animal procedures
Primary Responsibilities
1. Maintain mouse strains. Perform complex in vivo and in vitro experiments using mice and cell lines.
2. Perform laboratory experiments using biochemical and molecular biology approaches (including PCR, immunohistochemistry, Western blotting, and flow cytometry…).
3. Collaborate with scientific team to culture and test cells.
4. Maintain cell inventories of frozen cell stock in Liquid Nitrogen Tanks and record.
5. Aid in the implementation of general laboratory maintenance protocols. Maintain comprehensive laboratory protocols and records of results.
6. Write annual progress reports required for each funded grant per deadline. Work with the grants office in reconciling all budgets.
Qualifications:
1. MD or PhD in Biology preferred. Degree in Biology, molecular biology, life science must,
2. Strong writing skills, sound communication skills, and ability to deal with and handle complex issues.

We are seeking a candidate to work in the pursuit of the scientific discovery that there are distinct types of neutrophils which have different physiological and pathophysiological functions.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Conduct basic research on innate and adaptive immunity in experimental disease models.
2. Maintain mouse strains.
3. Maintain comprehensive laboratory protocols and records of results.
4. Perform complex in vivo and in vitro experiments using mice and cell lines.

6. Implement both new and existing methods, procedures and techniques.
7. Analyze and evaluate research results.

Qualifications:
Experience of work in a laboratory and of work with mice.
Ability to organize a laboratory environment.
Attention to detail; precise and accurate record-keeping.
Strict adherence to ethical standards of research.
Degrees in cell biology, molecular biology, or related field.
Bachelor’s degree in science or related field required.
Experience working in a laboratory environment with rodent models.
