Position Overview: As the Business Development Manager at Identity Architects, you will play a crucial role in our growth and strategic plan in selectively picking the right clients to invest our energy in. You will work closely with our team of architects and engineers, contributing your expertise to create innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs and exceed their expectations.
Qualifications:
- Experience of 5 to 10 years or more in Sales Manager or Sales Director role
- Successful history of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Leadership Skills in the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop your team members
- Ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives which require analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities, and formulating effective strategies.
- Excellent communication skills for both for effectively communicating with team members and for building relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Ability to analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions
- Experience negotiating deals with clients, partners, and vendors, so strong negotiation skills are necessary
- A focus on understanding and meeting the needs of customers to driving sales and build long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Planning and Forecasting: Developing comprehensive sales plans and accurate sales forecasts to drive revenue growth and meet company targets.
- Market Analysis and Strategy Development: Conducting market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities and develop effective sales strategies to capitalize on those opportunities.
- Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and clients, understanding their needs and requirements, and ensuring elevated levels of customer satisfaction.
- Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Managing the sales budget and allocating resources effectively to maximize sales performance and ROI.
- Collaboration with Other Departments: Working closely with other departments such as marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure alignment and coordination in achieving company objectives.
- Staying Updated on Industry Trends: Keeping abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify opportunities and threats, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Strategic Partnerships and Alliances: Identifying and nurturing strategic partnerships and alliances that can help drive sales growth and expand market reach.
- Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and challenges to sales targets and developing contingency plans to mitigate these risks.
- Compliance and Ethics: Ensuring that all sales activities and practices comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Representing the Company: Acting as a representative of the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings, and serving as a spokesperson for the sales department.
