PURPOSESupport Vaughn customers with sales, application, and pricing and proposal assistance while developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with Vaughn vendors who are essential to meet customer needs, and are consistent with current marketing plans and goals. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIESProvide inside sales support for all customers with application assistance, product sourcing, vendor assistance, and pricing and proposals. Support customers with product sourcing, pricing assistance, proposal presentation, billing, order entry.Coordinate and follow detailed marketing plans for target products, accounts and customers as outlined by managers and preferred vendors.Maintain open, productive communication.Promote a positive attitude with all, while promoting all of Vaughn’s products and services. Other duties as assignedKNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCEPrefer some experience with Industrial Distribution inside sales and customer service.Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present information and respond to customer questions and information.Ability to calculate discounts & percentages. Strong PC and software skills with the ability to use technology to improve efficiency and effectively communicate information, including, but not limited to the Quickbooks (preferred), Google & Microsoft Suites. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. PHYSICAL DEMANDSSight, hearing, speech. Frequent lateral mobility; frequent entry and exit from vehicles; use of both hands and arms; mentally able to plan and analyze verbal input; solve problems; make decisions and take appropriate action under moderate stress. POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED WORK HOURSThis is a full-time position with a typical work schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., however hours may vary by location. There may be times where there is an expectation to work extended hours as dictated by business needs. WORK AUTHORIZATIONThe candidate must be authorized to work in the United States.
