General Overview
Our sales team is currently made up of Batmen and Batwomen, but we need an Alfred! Don't sleep on Alfred, he's the organizational mastermind and makes things happen behind the scenes. Our Alfred will assist our heroes in scheduling freight and following up with drivers to facilitate on-time deliveries. The purpose of the Customer Service Representative role is to ensure all the data entry, scheduling updates, and shipping documents are processed accurately to support daily operations.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Ensure all date entry, scheduling updates and shipping documents are processed accurately to support daily freight operations.
2. Process both Inbound and Outbound paperwork and BOLs.
3. Communicate with Tyger team, drivers, and customers throughout the day.
4. Assist with general office work like ordering supplies and filing.
5. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
1. Associate’s Degree or higher
2. 1 years of computer experience
Key Skills and Competencies
1. Very comfortable with Excel, Word, and Outlook
2. Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
3. Good verbal and written communication skills. A phone call wizard.
4. Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, other business areas.
Requirements
1. Must be able to speak clearly and communicate with others on the phone and via email
2. Must be able to manage time throughout the day to meet goals.
3. Must be able to be on time and work independently.
4. Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
5. Must be able to use Microsoft Outlook.
6. Must be able to work Monday-Thursday from 8 AM - 5 PM and Friday 8 AM – 1 PM. Might be asked to be on-call at night for driver emergencies.
7. Must have consistent and reliable transportation to and from work for all scheduled shifts.
8. Must follow all applicable Company policies, procedures, and directives including, without limitation, those related to safety.
