JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for paying lease-based expenses, initiating rental payments and adjustment of invoices as needed to pay per the lease. Communicate with landlords as needed for any issues for stores within their assigned territories. All invoices are reviewed to ensure cam, insurance and taxes are paid per the lease and cost savings documentation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supporting the Real Estate Portfolio:

• Communicate with landlords as needed on rent, cam, tax, insurance payment questions.
• Review landlord invoice for common area maintenance for each store on an annual basis.
• Real estate tax bill audited for every store annually.
• Insurance invoices reviewed for each store on an annual basis.
• Enter invoices for CAM, insurance and taxes into the Timberline accounting system.
• Quarterly Ancillary Savings Report issued to management.
• Process all rent adjustment memos/change notices and submit to Accounting.
• Resolve payment disputes with Landlords.
• Termination/store closing notices prepared and sent to Accounting, Lease Accounting, Store Operations and Real Estate.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

• Accounting, business degree or equivalent experience.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

• 1 – 3 years invoice reconciliation experience.
• 1 – 3 years experience in a real estate environment is helpful.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office current version.
