1. Oversees process of posting charges and cash receipts to the general ledger in coordination with the accounts receivable manager and service area controllers. Leads revenue cycle process improvement initiatives, ensuring efficient and compliance in all areas of revenue cycle.
2. Ensure that revenue recognition is in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles
3. Develops procedures to collect and monitors that appropriate and adequate data is collected to accurately prepare the Schedule of Federal Expenditures of Federal Awards for the Single Audit.
4. Responsible for the analysis, documentation, implementation and assessment of internal financial controls relating to revenue. Identify key metrics and KPIs and develop strategies to advance objectives, while balancing these with the needs of the service areas and executive management
5. Oversee the process for claim submission, payment posting, and collections for billing Medicare/Medicaid, managed care and private insurance. The objective of this process should be to optimize revenue collection.
6. Oversees preparation of accounts receivable reports for service areas and senior level management
7. Analyze and recommend ongoing improvements to processes, procedures, systems, and reports
8. Oversees preparation of revenue and grant reporting including Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (SEFA), CYEFR, and other required state reporting

Education and Experience Requirements:

Relevant Education:
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

Relevant Experience:
Preferred: 7-10 Years: 7 years of accounting/finance related and supervisory experience

Minimum: 5-7 Years: 5 years of accounting/finance related and supervisory experience

Certification/Licensure:
Preferred: CPA
