OVERVIEW:
The Lead Server is a vital member of our restaurant team, responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests. As a Lead Server, you will provide guidance and support to the server team, ensuring smooth operations and a memorable dining experience. Your role includes taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a strong knowledge of the menu. You will also assist in training and supervising other servers to uphold high standards of service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
•Provide excellent service to guests, including taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing inquiries.
•Assist in training and supervising server staff to ensure they meet service standards.
•Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the menu, including food and beverage offerings.
•Collaborate with the restaurant management to ensure efficient service operations.
•Address guest concerns and issues professionally, seeking resolutions where possible.
•Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor.
•Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines.
ADDITIONAL POSITION DUTIES:
•Respond to any reasonable task assigned by Food and Beverage leadership.
•Assist in other areas as needed.
•Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any reports of theft.
•All other duties as assigned.
OTHER:
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled mandatory training sessions and meetings is required.
