Due to our continuous growth, Cartigaº is adding a Vice President, Retail Sales, Midwest to build our next sales region. Can be home-based and must be able to work from home and available to travel/visit clients majority of the time.

The Vice President, Retail Sales is responsible for scaling, shaping and leading an effective sales team in the Midwest region for Cartigaº. This individual will partner with other Regional Vice Presidents and Regional Managers to help to shape the go-to-market strategy and will lead its execution through leadership, discipline, motivation and accountability. They will leverage existing relationships to help drive business in their local territory. The Vice President will enhance current accounts and will continue to build the market with their own sales initiatives. They will be responsible for building relationships with Attorneys and Law Firms in order to generate new/referral business and provide top-quality client service.

WHO YOU ARE

The regional Vice President we’re looking for is a proactive leader & achiever who is self-motivated and driven by success. You're a natural salesperson with a hunter mentality, who thrives at building and nurturing relationships, and have the following qualifications/experience:

  • Legal/Medical industry sales experience is a HUGE PLUS
  • You’re an educated and bright individual with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (strongly preferred)
  • You’re a polished and effective communicator—well-spoken, personable and direct yet tactful
  • You have10 years of B2B sales, sales leadership, and relationship buildingexperience
  • You're a "go-getter" like us—with an insatiable thirst to be successful, drive to be the best, and motivation to make it all happen
  • You’re charismatic and have the ability to develop relationships with a variety of roles including internal and external clients (administrative and executive staff, including business-owners)
  • You’re organized, reliable and have excellent time-management skills
  • Preferably, you’ve worked on Salesforce.com or any CRM to manage client files
  • You’re able to think quickly, problem-solve, and project confidence
  • You’reprofessional,take pride in your work and have a strong work-ethic

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As the Vice President you will focus on building the Midwest sales region. This will include recruitment and hiring talent, sales training and leadership. In addition, you will be generating new business by building relationships with new and existing clients (law firms, attorneys, and their associates). You will be the primary point of contact with the attorney clients while an internal Client Specialist and Account Manager will support you by assisting the referred plaintiff client through the application process. Excellent customer service, follow-up skills and effective communication are key to succeeding in this role. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for the achievement and oversight of the annual sales quota for the Midwest Region
  • Ownership of overall pipeline, salesforce activities, forecasting (with Senior Management), and sales activities for your region.
  • Furnishing and communication of regularly updated pipeline forecasts, account health status, opportunity progress, assessments of sales team, competitive pressures & shifts and conversion process.
  • Foster a culture of sales excellence, teamwork, communication, and clarity across all aspects of the sales cycle.
  • Provide leadership and direction to build and maintain effective teams, mentoring potential leaders and providing for retention initiatives.
  • Identify and hire the best talentwhile proactively maintaining an adequate pipeline of recruiting prospects.
  • Network with lawyers and law firms in-person, online, making cold/warm calls, and follow-up calls in order to generate new and referral business
  • Build long-term relationships with attorneys and law firm clients by asking questions to learn about them, think outside the box and come up with creative ways to show them you’re there for them so you become their go-to person when referring their plaintiff-clients to a funding company
  • Diligently utilize Salesforce CRM tools to effectively manage the sales process and maintain relevant activity, notes, and case status
  • Manage and maintain accounts — prepare emails, documents, and contracts, while paying close attention to details and documenting them in Salesforce CRM
  • Work in collaboration with attorney clients and our internal team to ensure that plaintiffs funding application and contract get approved
  • Attend sales conferences and meetings, as needed
