Cartiga is Hiring a Remote Account Executive - Hybrid/Remote (South Florida)

Cartiga Vision:

To transform the legal industry with solutions that maximize the outcomes of cases while improving the customer experience.

Cartiga Mission:

To help attorneys and their clients navigate their way to legal success with innovative funding, technology, and data solutions.

About the role:

Due to our continuous growth, Cartiga is adding a full-time Account Executive to grow our South Florida based sales team. This role is remote-based which requires the ability to work from home and be available to travel/visit clients a majority of the time.

As our newest Account Executive, you will be responsible for building relationships with Attorneys and Law Firms to generate referral business and provide top-quality client service. If you are a natural salesperson looking for an opportunity for success, you have found it!

You will benefit from our high-level relationships with law firms and contacts that will help you hit-the-ground-running and bring in additional clients. This is a unique opportunity to work with industry leaders and become part of a dynamic, fast-growing yet stable company.
$65,000-$75,000 base salary plus Sales Incentive Plan

This role is not sponsorable

What you will take on:

As the Account Executive, you will focus on generating new business by building relationships with new and existing clients (law firms, attorneys, and their associates). You will be the primary point of contact with the attorney clients while an internal Client Specialist and Case Manager will support you by assisting the referred plaintiff client through the application process. Excellent customer service, follow-up skills and effective communication are key to succeeding in this role. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Network with lawyers and law firms in-person, online, making cold/warm calls, and follow-up calls to generate new and referral business
  • Build long-term relationships with attorneys and law firm clients by asking questions to learn about them, think creatively and come up with ways to show them you’re there for them so you become their go-to person when referring their plaintiff-clients to a funding company
  • Diligently utilize Salesforce CRM tools to effectively manage the sales process and maintain relevant activity, notes, and case status
  • Manage and maintain accounts — prepare emails, documents, and contracts, while paying close attention to details and documenting them in Salesforce CRM
  • Work in collaboration with attorney clients and our internal team to ensure that plaintiffs funding application and contract get approved
  • Attend sales conferences and meetings, as needed

Who you are:

The Account Executive we are looking for is an initiative-taking achiever who is self-motivated and driven by success. You are a natural salesperson with a hunter mentality, who thrives at building and nurturing relationships, and have the following qualifications/experience:

  • Legal Funding or Legal Services experience highly preferred
  • Medical or Financial Services industry sales experience would also be HUGE PLUS
  • You have 1-5 years of B2B sales, account management and relationship building experience
  • You are an educated and bright individual with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • You are a polished and effective communicator—well-spoken, personable, and direct yet tactful
  • You are a "go-getter" like us—accountable with an insatiable thirst to be successful, drive to be the best, and motivation to make it all happen
  • You are charismatic, collaborative and can develop relationships with a variety of roles including internal and external clients (administrative and executive staff, including business-owners)
  • You are organized, dependable and have excellent time-management skills (you must be able to oversee multiple accounts at once, arrive early for meetings/appointments, and be diligent at following-up)
  • You pay close attention to detail and are a diligent note-taker/note-maker
  • Preferably, you have worked on Salesforce.com or any CRM to manage client files
  • You are computer savvy and proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook email/calendar)
  • You can think quickly, problem-solve, and project confidence (even when you don’t have all the answers)
  • You are professional, take pride in your work and have a strong work-ethic
  • You dress for success, always well-groomed in front of clients and at business events
  • You have reliable transportation
