Job Summary

We are seeking a Server Assistant to join our team at Carte Blanche.

As a Server Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant by providing support to the servers and assisting with various tasks. If you have a passion for customer service and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Duties

- Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to tables
- Clear tables and reset them for the next guests
- Refill water glasses and provide additional condiments as needed
- Assist with food preparation and plating
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area
- Help with dishwashing and cleaning duties as required
- Communicate effectively with both customers and team members
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing any customer needs or concerns

Skills

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and procedures
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques is an asset
