Caris is an apolitical faith based nonprofit pregnancy counseling organization, and a beacon of light in the Chicagoland region. Our mission is to see women and children thrive during and after unplanned pregnancy.
Our approach is unique: we serve by grace with love no matter what decision is made. We trust God to do the work that we are incapable of doing in our own strength.
We provide professional counseling to address any number of pregnancy-related issues, and we also connect women to valuable resources and to various communities of support. All services are donor supported and as a result, are FREE to the women and families that we serve.
Services include professional counseling, case management, pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, and support groups.
OPPORTUNITY SUMMARY
We are seeking a dynamic Program Manager to lead the Client Services Department. The PM is responsible for programmatic success in all of Caris’ client-centered work and advocacy. They will evaluate and monitor programs and contribute to program planning and implementation. Spanish speaking candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in ministry, education, community health, public policy, community organizing and advocacy, social work, non-profit management or related area. Candidates must be proactive and have experience in managing programs and teams, program evaluation and data collection. A successful candidate must be passionate about our mission and the possibilities of what can be accomplished through our model and will promote a positive work culture. Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement. Ensure compliance of standard operating procedures and policies. Coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives. Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders.
You will manage client-facing team members. Lead day-to-day programming and client service operations. Provide oversight and monitoring of required client documentation in relevant data bases and files. Lead and participate in client engagement strategies to increase client numbers and provide community awareness of all Caris programs. Assist in the development and implementation of client service program plans. Extend support to program team. Engage in fund development activities for new and existing programs. Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement. Ensure compliance of policies and procedures. Coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives. Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders.

Manage and advance all Caris Client Programs
Hire, Train & Manage Client Services Team: masters-level counselors, sonographer, etc.
Provide direct services as needed, likely 20%
Support Outreach initiatives, likely 10%
