Job Summary :
The Medicare Account Representative II will be responsible for supporting and executing on the established D-SNP sales strategy.
Essential Functions :
- Support training, recruitment, development, and performance management of FMOs, general agents, and individual agents.
- Collaborate with product owners to develop attractive and differentiated benefit designs.
- Maintain all structure and process necessary to assure impeccable regulatory record, achievement of sales growth goals and consistency for Medicare.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with all operational policies, procedures, training programs, and requirements
- Collaborate with internal teams for annual training / recognition meetings
- Develop opportunities for information sharing and communication
- Support in development of new growth and retention strategies, resource planning, market analysis / targeting.
- Collaboration with Marketing for advertising / materials support to assure achievement of growth goals
- Identify and build key relationships that have broad implications on success of growth goals
- Conduct presentations, marketing activities and other educational events in accordance with current approved communication and marketing programs and state / federal regulations
- Assist in community outreach strategies and programs with guidance from internal departments and staff while adhering to all applicable state and federal regulatory requirements
- Serve as a subject matter expert on CareSource's Medicare product line, Medicare, and industry insights
- Build, foster and maintain strategic relationships to ensure sales success
- Develop field marketing opportunities for the Medicare Sales Representatives and participate in them as needed.
- Extensive daily travel is required
- Perform any other job duties as requested
Education and Experience :
- High School diploma or GED is required; Associate's Degree in business, healthcare or related field, or equivalent years of relevant work experience is preferred
- Experience in a service, sales, product, or consulting environment is preferred
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in Medicare sales experience is required
- Experience in consultative selling in complex decision-making processes is preferred

Licensure and Certification :
- Current, unrestricted Insurance License in Accident and Health within state of assigned territory is required, or ability to achieve license within 30 days of hire
- Current CMS Medicare Advantage Certification issued by CareSource or other authorized CMS Medicare Advantage insurance organization within 30 days of hire and annual recertification each year thereafter is required
- Current Medicare Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (MFWA) certification required
- Current, unrestricted Driver's License in good standing is required. Employment in this position is conditional pending successful clearance of a driver's license record check.
If the driver's license record results are unacceptable, the offer will be withdrawn or, if you have started employment in this position, your employment in this position will be terminated.

Working Conditions :
- Mobile Worker : This is a mobile position, meaning that regular travel to different work locations is essential. Will be exposed to weather conditions typical of the location and may be required to stand and / or sit for long periods of time.
- Reside in the same territory they are assigned to work in; exceptions may be considered, due to business need
- May be required to travel greater than 50% of time to perform work duties. A valid driver's license, car, and insurance are necessary for work related travel
- Required to use general office equipment, such as a telephone, photocopier, fax machine, and personal computer
- Flexible hours, including possible evenings and / or weekends as needed to serve the needs of the business
Compensation Range :
$45,600.00 - $73,000.00 CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate's education, training, and experience as well as the position's scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level.
