Care Resource Community Health Center is Hiring an OFFICE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT Near Miami, FL

Job Details
DescriptionClient Services
  • Acts as a liaison between community partners, vendors, client services, program eligibility and management.
  • Provides support in coordination of food drives, storage and dispensing of food to clients and community partners. Completes finanical billing and data entry in multiple systems (Provide Enterprise, Availity, Food Bank Manger, etc.,)
  • Ensures HIPAA, confidentiality and security of all client information and files.
  • Ensures that all clients are served by staff in their appropriate language by utilizing translation services as needed.
  • Works with client concerns in order to provide service recovery and reports to Director results and plans.
  • Serves as liaison between other agencies’ case managers and clients with regard to food services
  • Serves as liaison between Account Payable (Finance department) and Food For Life regarding inventory controls

Understands and performs assigned roles in the organization’s Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP).
Contact ResponsibilityContact with internal and external community partners, vendors and clients is frequent.
Supports agency 3C’s Culture of Service
Ensures compliance with all standards of care, food handling regulations and administrative procedures required for staff under supervision. The role is required to be performed in an office setting.
Physical RequirementsThis work requires the following physical activities: frequent walking and talking in person, bending, standing, and stretching/reaching. Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
OtherParticipates in health center developmental activities as requested.
Other duties as assigned.
Travel Requirements and Details (This option goes on a separate field)Own transportation is required.
Work ExperienceOne year of related experience is required, preferably in the food industry. Food handling certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire. Completed background application and fingerprinting submitted to manager within 30 days of hire.
EducationHigh School diploma required.
