Job Description :
The Warehouse Shift Lead acts as a liaison between the Shift Supervisor and order selectors. This position is in a fast-paced, order fulfillment atmosphere.
The Warehouse Shift Lead will be expected to stand for 8 - 12 hours in a non-climate-controlled work environment. Associate must be able to work over-time and weekends as needed.
In this environment, the Warehouse Shift Lead will be responsible for the performance of the order selectors, ensuring safety practices and mitigating theft.
This will be done by training / coaching production associates, tracking performance, and escalating issues to supervision. Requirements :
- Must be able to move up to 25 lbs
- Must be able to reliably commute to and from work
- Must be able to work well with others, take direction from leadership, and maintain a safe and clean area
Site-Specific Special Requirements :
- At least 2 years warehouse experience
- At least 1 year leadership experience in a production or warehouse environment
- Ability to coach, train, and lead production associates
- Ability to multi-task and solve issues
- Ability to maintain positive relationships with the partner, production associates, and leadership
- Must be able to work overtime
- Must be available for weekends
