We are looking for a 3rd shift Sanitation Tech. The Sanitation Tech's duties include cleaning, sanitizing and maintaining the Manufacturing plant. Ensure the efficient and effective cleaning of production equipment and adjacent areas, in addition to other environments, following approved sanitary methods.

Responsible for the safe use of appropriate chemical solutions to ensure the cleanest and most highly sanitized equipment.
Ensure that all necessary safety precautions are followed in performing your responsibilities.
Responsible for following through on projects assigned .
Cleans equipment by using hot water hoses and/or high-pressure soap hoses with temperatures up to 160 degrees
Lifts, carry, push or pull parts or equipment with weights up to 100# or more.
Climb ladders to clean spirals/equipment.
Possible forklift/pallet jack/manlift licensed for certain areas.
Tearing equipment down and assisting Production to put line back together.
Works with soaps and other cleaning compounds, some toxic if not handled correctly.
Temperatures throughout plant average 50 degrees.
Required to wear hairnet, smock, boots or overshoes, ear plugs, gloves, plastic sleeves, and aprons provided by the Company.
Other duties as assigned.Position Qualifications:

1 year experience in food, beverage or processing/manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
Must be able to work overtime and weekends.
Sanitation experience preferred.

Pay range is $18.00 - $20.00

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (Requirements are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.)
Must be able to bend and lift up to 50 pounds repetitively, while using proper lifting techniques.
Must be able to stand, walking for extended periods of time up to 12 hours a day.
Exposure to temperatures that range from freezing to sub-freezing 30F to 60F (coolers, freezers, etc.)
Must be able to climb stairs, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach at, above and below shoulders. Repetitive use of hands.
