Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial business development professional to join our growing team in the Washington, DC area. This is an exciting opportunity in a dynamic role within our Growth COE for critical initiatives and working in collaboration with our Capability Teams and Account Teams.
Job Responsibilities
As a Business Development (BD) Associate, you will:
  • Serve as a BD associate across strategic growth initiatives and working in a dynamic team and work environment.
  • Complete special projects within BD, Capture, Proposals, Marketing, GWACs, and Tech partnerships.
  • Support internal/external Growth COE operations and work with CGS teams.
  • Serve as trusted advisor/business partner across CGS with the growth mindset.
  • Collaborate with CGS teams on implementing best practices/SOPs.
  • Handling multiple initiatives and leading teams for success and execution.
  • Develop strategies with the leadership team in various growth initiatives.
  • Maintain relevancy within the Federal Government and bring innovative ideas.
  • Surge in growth activities such as serving as various proposal/marketing roles as needed for support in proposals, marketing events, social media, etc.
  • Engage with Capgemini parent company resources (350,000 worldwide) for commercial/international expertise and capabilities to market.
  • Represent, market, and brief industry on CGS domain experience/capabilities.
Basic Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited College/University.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience in business development activities (e.g. supporting account and capture plans, government proposals, tech partnerships growth plans, and various marketing efforts).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; to include experience in showcasing growth initiatives, marketing to clients and industry, and presenting and interacting with leadership.
  • Exceptional analytic skills with the demonstrated ability to take complex client and vendor concepts and articulate them to audiences of varying perception levels.
  • Knowledge of full business development process, capture process, proposal process, and crosscut marketing process, and tech growth partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of Government procurement processes and procedures.
  • Research and track opportunities using GovWin or similar research tools.
  • Experience working CRM platforms for growth activities and internal processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, Outlook).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with people at all levels in an organization.
