If you have an understanding of insurance billing and excellent organizational skills, we want to hear from you! Job Summary:Maintain all patient accounts per specified insurance companies. Utilize automated internal systems to monitor and manage overdue accounts. Contact account holders to notify them of delinquent account status and facilitate payment arrangements. Record and maintain pertinent data on collection efforts and customer financial status. Perform administrative and clerical functions as needed.Job Responsibilities:
  1. Retrieve and post daily ERA/Insurance Payments for designated insurances.
  2. Process creation of claims for specified insurances.
  3. Appeal all denied claims for designated insurances within the timely filing limit.
  4. Assist patients in understanding explanation of benefits, payment policies, etc.
  5. Pull and maintain A/R reports and claim statuses for designated insurances.
  6. Provide assistance to other staff on appeals posting and other insurance/financial questions.
  7. Address all correspondences for designated insurances.
  8. Offer phone support for Billing Hunt Group.
  9. Perform scanning duties.
  10. Collect and post payments to customer accounts.
  11. Review terms of sales, service, or credit contracts, provide options to customers for debt repayment, and establish repayment schedules based on customers' financial situations.
  12. Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  2. Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and EClinical Works is a plus.
  3. Provides great customer service.
  4. Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
  5. Ability to identify issues and creatively solve problems.
  6. Team player who’s ready to assist wherever needed.
