About the Position


This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing training and development programs that empowers staff to reach their full potential while improving organizational performance. Shape our organization’s learning culture, coach our managers, and ensure that our teams are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed:

  • Lead the development and execution of training programs tailored to the needs of our staff, with a focus on continuous learning and skill enhancement.
  • Oversee the delivery of training programs, which may include in-person, online, or hybrid training methods.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive training curriculum that aligns with our organizational goals and industry standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers to enhance their leadership and coaching skills, ensuring they can effectively develop and engage their teams.
  • Develop and implement methods for evaluating the effectiveness of training programs, making data-driven improvements as necessary.
  • Collaborate with department heads and human resources to identify training needs, align learning objectives with organizational goals, and ensure training programs are relevant and effective.
  • Stay updated with the latest learning and development trends and incorporate into training programs when appropriate.
  • Foster a positive and engaging work environment by promoting skill development, coaching for improvement and growth, inspiring others through words and actions, ensuring positive employee morale by embracing our core values.
  • Some travel required 20%.

MUST HAVES:

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, professionalism and compassion.
  • Able to analyze data and make data-drive decisions.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent oral, verbal and written communication skills required, including public contact.
  • Ability to take initiative and work under minimal supervision.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in learning and development with a strong emphasis on training, curriculum development and managerial coaching; proven experience designing and delivering effective training programs.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent training and experience that would lead to the successful performance of the essential functions of the role.

SCHEDULE: Full time

PAY: $68,000 - $75,000 per year

The base salary range above represents the low and high of the range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of total compensation package for employees.
