As a Night Auditor at our IHG hotel, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment during overnight hours. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, providing exceptional customer service to guests, and ensuring the safety and security of the premises.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Duties:
• Conduct night audit procedures to reconcile daily revenue and transactions.
• Ensure accuracy in posting room charges, taxes, and other fees.
• Prepare and distribute daily financial reports to management.
• Handle cash transactions, including guest payments and refunds.
• Monitor and control the hotel's cash reserves.
• Guest Services:
• Provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests arriving during late hours.
• Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures.
• Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously.
• Handle any emergencies or guest disturbances efficiently and professionally.
• Ensure all guest requests and issues are resolved to their satisfaction.
• Security and Safety:
• Conduct regular patrols of the hotel premises to ensure security.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems.
• Enforce hotel policies and procedures to maintain safety and order.
• Respond to any security incidents or breaches appropriately.
• Collaborate with local authorities if necessary.
• Administrative Tasks:
• Complete end-of-day accounting procedures and reports.
• Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with administrative duties as assigned by management.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
• Participate in training programs and meetings as required.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in computer systems, including hotel management software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Knowledge of IHG brand standards and procedures is a plus.
