The people who brought you Sauced BBQ and Spirits are now looking to bring even more crazy fun to Livermore at Da Boccery. This 17,000 square foot building won't just be filled with great food and cocktails, but it will have numerous fun games for the whole family to enjoy. Our guests will be able to spend hours at Da Boccery enjoying bocce ball, shuffleboard, foot-pool, axe throwing, corn hole and more.

We are looking for an experienced and energetic individual with great leadership skills who will contribute to a fun, friendly, and fast paced BBQ heaven, all while developing a dynamic team. Our Service Manager must lead by example in every area of the restaurant. Must be passionate about building a loyal fan base, with a desire to continuously develop systems and staff to provide the best possible experience to our guests again and again.

Requirements/Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the development and management of all staff including managers of all departments. All staff and managers will be developed based upon Sauced standards and systems that are in place with more to come.
• Opening and closing restaurant shifts throughout the year including holidays as determined by your General Manager.
• Assisting in the writing of timely and accurate sales and labor forecast for the restaurant with communication to your Director of Operations.
• Implementing sales building techniques with servers, hosts and bartenders to drive top line performance.
• Implementing and maintaining proper food/beverage handling processes in relationship to the health and safety of employees and customers. Follow all systems and checklists in place to ensure proper food safety and quality.
• Developing yourself, other managers and staff on Sauced standards in service, food quality, and sanitation.
• Open communication with Human Resources with any staff members or managers that could result in a financial loss for the company.
• Hiring and maintaining staff according to set pars for the desired location while developing the management team on how to identify quality staff.
• Adhering to and successfully managing budgets for selected parts of the P&L that you are in control of. The items of the P&L that you will be managing are: Labor, COG, Sales and Profit. Any additional items will be delegated by your General Manager.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Requirements

• At least 4 years of restaurant experience.
• At least 2 years of high volume restaurant management experience.
• Ability to manage 50 team members on a shift. 
• Ability to communicate at a high level verbally and in written form.
• Open availability including weekends and holidays.
• An understanding of the P&L and how to impact prime cost.
• The requirements of this job will be 50 hours minimum per week with the expectation is that you will work longer when required, and the additional expectation is that you will work until your job is complete.

Education/Certification

• High School diploma or GED/or Associates degree in Business Management.
• California Food Protection Manager Certification
