CFC, a Big-D Company, has an opportunity for an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to join their team of construction professionals in Golden, CO. REAL RESULTS. CFC's project portfolio includes multi-family residential, mountain resort facilities, hospitality, and commercial work.Primary markets are Metro-Denver and Colorado ski areas.
We are looking for a master multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude. Candidates should be able to assist management and all visitors to the company by handling office tasks, providing polite and professional assistance via phone, mail, e-mail, making reservations or travel arrangements, and generally being a helpful and positive presence in the workplace.
To be successful in this role, candidates should be professional, polite, and attentive while also being accurate. They should always be prepared and responsive, willing to meet each challenge directly. Administrative assistants must be comfortable with computers, general office tasks, and excel at both verbal and written communication. Most importantly, administrative assistants should have a genuine desire to meet the needs of others.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Handles administrative and office-related duties, such as filing, ensuring operation of office equipment, and ordering supplies.
  • Provides planning and scheduling support to the team including setting up for meetings and making travel arrangements.
  • Uses best judgment and acts as a "gatekeeper" to screen solicitors who arrive in-person or call in to the office. Routes callers to the appropriate party.
  • Prepares minutes from meetings, creates presentations, generates reports and conducts research.
  • Maintains polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
  • Anticipates the needs of others in order to ensure their seamless and positive experience.
  • Stationed at the reception desk, politely welcomes and assists to all visitors as they arrive at the offices. Contacts employees to let them know the visitor has arrived.
  • Assists Human Resources with the onboarding process for new hires and various company initiatives.
  • Updates master phone list with phone extensions and/or project location for new office hires and changes along with email distribution lists.
  • Receives all incoming mail, packages, and plans.Ensures that all of the items are distributed to the correct recipient efficiently and processes outgoing mail.
  • Orders, distributes, and maintains branded items in coordination with Business Development and the Yard & Logistics Manager
  • Coordinates sponsorship and contribution requests with local organizations that CFC supports throughout the year.
  • Supports Business Development and other departments as needed.
  • Handles sensitive and confidential information, always exercising discretion
  • Prepares general correspondences, memos, etc. Proofreads copy for spelling, grammar and layout, making appropriate changes; responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy.
  • Communicates company sponsored events and updates through e-mail distribution lists.
  • Coordinates with DPC Companies (building/property management) to rent DPC conference rooms, schedule building repairs, etc.
  • Maintains reception area, breakroom and all common areas in clean and tidy manner.
  • Committed to supporting CFC's policies and procedures

  • The ability to operate a multi-line phone system and other office equipment, such as computer, printer, copier, fax, and postage machine.
  • Maintains a friendly and courteous attitude, even under stressful situations.
  • Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships.
  • Proficient computer skills, including typing, Microsoft Office Suite, Internet savvy.
  • Proficient in Outlook, organizing meetings, assigning tasks, working with distribution lists.
  • Ability to perform light clerical work, such as typing, filing, and sorting.
Qualifications:
  • A High School Diploma or GED is required
  • Business school, Associate's degree or equivalent is a plus
  • 3 years in an administrative support role is preferred
  • Experience with accounts payable entry is a plus
Salary Range: $44,000 - $61,000 ($21.15/hour - $29.3/hour)
Bonus: up to 4%
