About the Job
- The Front of the House is the face of the Camp Bow Wow and s/he is responsible for providing excellent customer services and to generate sales.
- The main responsibilities include: Key holder - open/close the facility, Manage Front Desk-Client Interface, Support/Direct Back of the House (BoH) team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Reliable staff member to open facility each morning (open 615am; AM shift 630am-1pm)
- Greet customers with smile and address dogs by name
- Answer phones and explain our services, our policies, and procedures
- Manage, organize and take reservations
- Receive and record payments
- Scan, verify and process camper interview applications and vaccination records
- Verify and update dog counts at all times (2x per shift)
- Review upcoming reservations and contact customers for updated vaccines and deposits
- Escort dogs to the BoH (check in) and bring dogs up to lobby from BoH (check out)
- Maintain a clean, organized lobby and front desk area
- Setup boarder’s cabins and meals if necessary
- Continually keep an up to date Nightly Report that maintains a log of key daily activity
- From time to time, complete a grooming, enrichment, walk, cleaning or yard task)
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the Manager / Owner.
- Having a sunny, upbeat personality and a love of dogs is a must!!
Essential Skills:
- Very reliable, extremely energetic & outgoing person; upbeat with a positive personality
- Must be a multi-tasker, able to work a fast pace, team environment,
- Have exceptional customer service, communication, administrative and organizational skills
- Be a quick learner on the computer; working knowledge w/ Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Must be dependable; impeccable attendance
- MUST LOVE DOGS - the noise, the hair, the messes the love, and the smiles!!!!!!!!
Reporting:
- Camp Manager / Franchise Owner.
Availability:
- 5 Days a Week (~35hrs a week), including weekends and some Holidays.
Pay:
- $15.00 - $16.00 per hour depending on experience; tips distributed to employees.
Education:
- High school or equivalent. (Required)
Experience:
- Front Desk-Key Holder: 1 year. (Preferred); Team leadership/supervisory: 1 year (Preferred)
