Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Event Manager to join our team. As an Event Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing various events. This is a dynamic role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: - Plan and execute events from start to finish, including budgeting, logistics, and vendor management - Coordinate with clients to understand their event objectives and ensure their needs are met - Develop event concepts and themes that align with client goals - Source and negotiate contracts with venues, suppliers, and service providers - Manage event timelines and ensure all deadlines are met - Oversee event setup, including decor, audiovisual equipment, and seating arrangements - Coordinate event staff and volunteers to ensure smooth operations during the event - Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement Experience: - Proven experience as an Event Manager or similar role - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficient in retail math for budgeting purposes - Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines - Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and design - Knowledge of event planning software is a plus We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
