Role Overview:

As an Event Registration Manager and Sales Associate, you will be integral to the success of our shows. This role combines on-site event management with sales responsibilities in the office. We're seeking a career-oriented and extroverted individual who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys both customer-facing interactions and behind-the-scenes organizational tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Responsibilities (Office-Based):

-Proactively sell sponsorships for Build Expos, utilizing your sales experience and skills to meet and exceed targets.

-Cultivate and maintain relationships with sponsors, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.

-Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling sponsorship packages and promotional materials.

Event Registration Manager Responsibilities (On-Site):

-Travel to various show locations across the United States once a month for 5 business days.

-Take charge of the registration desk at the show, overseeing the entire registration process.

-Manage a team of 8-10 temporary employees on-site, providing on-the-job training and guidance.

-Efficiently handle the printing of badges at the registration desk.

-Welcome exhibitors and attendees, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.

-Act as the point of contact for any registration-related inquiries or issues.

Qualifications:

-Previous experience in event management, registration, and sales is required.

-Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

-Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

-Ability to lead and motivate a team.

-Flexibility to travel and work on-site during events.
