Calypso Spirits Bar is a Caribbean inspired full service restaurant located in Soulard. We specialize in craft cocktails and a menu embodied by the spices of the islands.

**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a dedicated General Manager to oversee the overall operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, kitchen management, and hospitality.

**Responsibilities:**

- Manage day-to-day operations of the establishment including cost, inventory, personnel, sales and culture.

- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service

- Oversee food preparation and kitchen operations with a heightened attention to detail.

- Implement and maintain quality standards for food service

- Train and supervise staff members

- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed

- Develop and implement strategies to meet financial goals

- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly

**Requirements:**

- 2 years experience in hospitality management or related field

- Strong knowledge of food service management and culinary practices

- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

- Proven track record of achieving revenue targets

- Experience in marketing/sales and business development in a restaurant setting.

- Available to work flexible schedule that includes Thursday through Sunday with additional office days as needed.

- Must have or be willing to obtain (at employers expense) alcohol and food safety certification.

- Ability to create and maintain company policies and procedures
