PURPOSE:The Sales Representative will be responsible for developing sales leads and managing key accounts for current customers. This role will interact with other Sales Representatives, Plant Personnel, Accounting/Credit, Pricing and Transportation staff.
KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Develops sales leads and manages key accounts.
* Prepares reports as required by management.
* Development of product growth strategies based on market and company data.
* Prepares and presents quotes, including transportation, freight, import/export and all other related services.
* Business development with a keen ability to discuss a customer's application and deliver a product solution.
* Ability to skillful negotiate contractual obligations based on successfully quantifying identifiable metrics
* Assist in the development, quality and operations in the initial establishment and maintenance of customer specifications.
* Ability to convert sales leads to concrete opportunities utilizing action related sales markers
* CRM /Sales report generation required with a focus of identifying measurable metrics
* Build partnerships with corporate manufacturing, supply chain and other stakeholders to deliver best in class service for customers.
* Position requires extensive travel (40% or more) and is on call for troubleshooting at customer locations.
* Additional duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:* Minimum 5 years sales experience
* Bachelor's degree required
* Valid Driver's License required
* Experience in selling solvents/chemicals

* Proficiency in use of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).

* Cross selling Calumet products as opportunities arise
