PURPOSE:

The Financial Systems Analyst plays a pivotal role in enhancing our financial infrastructure by providing expert administration and support of critical financial applications, including OneStream, Concur, and SAP. This role involves direct responsibility for overseeing the comprehensive functionality, maintenance, and optimization of these systems. The Analyst leads initiatives to develop robust mechanisms for tracking and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the accounting close task manager, reconciliations, and other essential financial metrics, ensuring the finance team's operations are streamlined and effective.

KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Administer and provide advanced support for the OneStream and Concur applications, including user access, hierarchy maintenance, data mapping, and troubleshooting.
• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of OneStream solutions, collaborating with the Financial Systems Manager to oversee application management and process optimization.
• Spearhead the effort to create, monitor, and report on KPIs related to the accounting close process, reconciliations, and other critical financial operations, leveraging data from OneStream, Concur, and SAP.
• Ensure the integrity and timely execution of the OneStream consolidation process, managing day-to-day requests/incidents and overseeing data loads to support financial reporting.
• Develop comprehensive documentation and conduct user training sessions for both OneStream and Concur applications to enhance user understanding and efficiency.
• Interface with internal audit to compile and present required documentation, demonstrating compliance and operational excellence.
• Identify and implement strategies to streamline, standardize, and automate internal and external financial reporting, enhancing accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide exceptional user and administrative support for SAP Concur, including developing and maintaining documentation for addressing common issues and inquiries.
• Work collaboratively with Finance and IT teams to evaluate and deploy solutions that meet business needs, acting as a liaison to ensure stakeholder expectations are surpassed.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned, contributing to the team's success and organizational goals.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Analytics or related field
• 2 years of relevant experience in finance

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:

• Working knowledge of Hyperion/OneStream or other Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) applications preferred
• Knowledge of SAP ERP systems is advantageous.

COMPETENCIES:

• The candidate should possess the capability to translate financial data into actionable insights that drive efficiency and effectiveness in financial processes.
• A thorough understanding of financial processes and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is critical. This includes knowledge of financial consolidation, reporting standards, and the ability to ensure compliance with financial regulations through the effective use of financial systems.
• The ideal candidate must be highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently. This includes maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring the reliability of financial data within the systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to collaborate with team members, contribute to a positive work environment, and take ownership of their responsibilities.
• Must have strong analytical skills with the ability to dissect complex financial data, identify trends, and resolve issues. The candidate should be adept at using these skills to improve financial reporting, streamline operations, and automate processes where possible.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, and familiarity with financial software applications is necessary. The candidate should have the ability to leverage these tools to enhance financial reporting and analysis.
