What you can expect as a Patient Collections Specialist
This individual is responsible for collecting, posting, managing patient account payments, and is accountable for contacting and following up regarding delinquent patient payments via mail, phone and practice management software. This person is responsible for the management of Patient Accounts Receivable by collecting payments from patients. They also prepare reports on a weekly basis that provides the status of patient accounts.
