This position is responsible for maintaining and coordinating warehouse operations by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties

1. Maintains shipping, receiving, and inventory management operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing policies and procedures.
2. Controls inventory levels by conducting weekly, quarterly, and yearly physical counts as needed.
3. Makes decisions for the warehouse, with the advisement of direct supervisor.

Job Duties
- Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by ensuring that established security and safety procedures and protocols are followed and reviewed so that changes and/or upgrades can be made when needed.
- Controls inventory levels by conducting weekly cycle counts and quarterly and yearly physical counts as needed. Ensures with Operations team that all results are properly reconciled.
- Manages the safety of the warehouse with the inspection of equipment and the scheduling of preventive maintenance checks, issues work orders for repairs, and prepares requisitions for replacements as needed.
- Maintains warehouse operational results by monitoring and appraising overall performance of warehouse.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks.
- Maintains standard operating procedures for all facets of warehouse management, such as uniforms, Lilypad system and transfer orders.
- Ensures inventory invoices are done in an accurate and timely manner.
- Maintains proper communication with direct supervisor.
- Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance.
- Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
- Respectfully takes direction from supervisor.
- Light maintenance required.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED and one year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working in warehouse, management or supervisory roles preferred.
Certificates, Licenses and/or Registrations
A valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and automobile liability coverage or access to an insured vehicle.
Travel Requirement
This position requires occasional travel for up to 5-25% of the position.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Computer Skills
Has advanced basic computer job skills including logging on to systems, ability to communicate by email, ability to compose documents, enter database information, create presentations, download forms, and preserve/backup important data.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
