The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program. Job Description The Lead Product Manager role is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing one or more products. The role includes but is not limited to contributing to and managing the product roadmap, overseeing the implementation, and working in an agile environment with a cross-functional team to develop products that meet the needs of our consumers and clients. Requires in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in Product Management along with other job disciplines within the organization in order to successfully manage the product. Manages one or more producers of strategic importance to the organization due to high growth value, involving large cross-functional teams. PRIMARY DUTIES/KEY RESPONSIBILITES Strategy/Discovery: Formulates an in-depth understanding of problems by customer segment, persona and competitive landscape. Partners with UX, marketing research, client solutions, and business stakeholders to observe and solicit feedback from clients. Responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing one or more products. Identifies, quantifies, and effectively communicates customer market opportunities. Planning: Creates and maintains product vision and roadmap; creates business plans to secure funding; develops go-to-market strategy and value proposition. Ensures feature alignment across products; manages feature creation and identifies business rules/impact. Collaborates with other Product Managers to ensure alignment across products; participates in planning and pre/post-planning events (Demos and Inspect/Adapt). Development: Builds an effective relationship between Product & Development teams. Collaborates with Product Owners, UX Designers and others to prototype, test and validate solutions. Makes buy/build/partner recommendations to Agile Release Train(s). Supports testing and partners with revenue and business stakeholders to develop pricing strategies and assess impact on Return on Investment (ROI). Works with Product Readiness, Product Management and Marketing teams to communicate new products, and develop go-to-market strategy, plans, and training materials. Evaluation: Assesses product performance against KPIs and makes corrections to improve performance; creates and delivers thoughtful information to influence key market constituents. Makes end-of-life recommendations for non-performant products. Functional Skills Analytical Thinking – Working knowledge of and ability to apply effective analytical techniques and tools. Analyzes issues, determines root cause, and creates/compares alternative solutions that are in the best interest of the business. Managing Multiple Priorities - Manages multiple concurrent objectives, projects, or activities, making informed prioritization and time allocation decisions. Understands work and activity can be impacted by shifts in demands and priorities. Responds to day-to-day operational priorities while still making progress on project work. Addresses potential conflicts that impact delivery commitments, working with team members, management, and other stakeholders to re-prioritize as necessary. Requirements Analysis – Working knowledge of and ability to elicit, analyze and document required business requirements. Engages with the customers, users, and other stakeholders to gather requirements. Utilizes appropriate methods, tools, and techniques for requirements analysis. Challenges, and manages conflicts and expectations associated with requirements analysis. System and Technology Integration – Working knowledge of technology system features and facilities and the ability to integrate and communicate among applications, databases, and platforms. Works with existing interfaces as well as integration and migration plans within own area and across aligned/associated areas. Explores major issues and considerations for successful system integration. Plays an active role in current and planned integration efforts. Technology Savvy – Working knowledge of technology and its ability to improve work processes and results (e.g., enhance productivity, efficiency, collaboration, quality, or customer satisfaction). Skilled in using technology to solve work-related problems and create new business opportunities. Pursues opportunities to develop knowledge and experiments with emerging technology solutions that can help accomplish work goals. Serves as a resource to help others understand and anticipate the impact of technology on current processes, products, and services. Education, experience and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 6 years’ experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 4 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years’ experience in a related field Experience in API management, B2B integrations, and/or Data Management is required. Applies comprehensive knowledge of business, product maturity and performance, and industry principles, practices, and procedures. Working knowledge of SAFe Agile Methodology. Familiar with recognized industry bodies of knowledge both generic and specific, and has a wide breadth of knowledge across the industry or business Experience in design, development and implementation of product plans. Experience in full product lifecycle methodologies. Experience in creating, prioritizing and recommending epics and features. Experience in in conducting competitive research and analysis. Experience in identifying KPI's and other analytics to measure product value. Experience with executive presentations. Experience in a collaborative, cross-functional, and complex team environment. Inventory and/or Enterprise domain experience preferred. Drug Testing To be employed in this role, you’ll need to clear a pre-employment drug test.
