Job Description: Position Description: Advises on Agile values and delivers architecture and systems using JIRA/Kanban boards, to improve efficiency and reduce cycle times. Identifies team improvement opportunities and looks externally for techniques to support continuous improvement. Maintains and updates the Squad's process metrics and artifacts to ensure accurate and clear communications to partners. Implements Agile behaviors. Supports the overall Squad performance and efficiency. Primary Responsibilities: Drives Agile behaviors and improvements, reinforces best practices, and supports overall performance and efficiency. Maintains process metrics and artifacts to ensure accuracy of JIRA/Kanban Boards. Identifies team improvement opportunities and supports continuous improvement. Responsible for coaching and mentoring complex squads. Provides solutions to product area impediments across squads. Identifies and recommends training and development needs of the squad. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Manager, Product Management (or closely related occupation) designing and delivering architecture and technical systems using JIRA/Kanban boards. Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Manager, Product Management (or closely related occupation) designing and delivering architecture and technical systems using JIRA/Kanban boards. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) coaching and training development teams using Scrum and Scrum@Scale. DE performing Agile health assessments for development teams and product areas using Agile tools -- JIRA, Jira Align, DOMO, and metrics -- Cycle Time, Velocity, Lead Time -- to identify and lead implementation of improvement opportunities. DE analyzing delivery data for trends and opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness of team’s deliverables.
