Requirements:
- Knowledge and understanding of specialty coffee / tea
- Properly prepare all beverages to the highest standards
- Must understand all the machines used during coffee service including the grinders, percolators and espresso machine and maintain these machines to spec
- Dial in drip coffee and espresso machine
- Foam milk correctly
- Maintain cleanliness and always restock equipment as needed.
- Ability to multitask in high-volume service
- Proficient use of POS functions
- Cash handling and communication skills with management done with utmost professionalism.
- DOHMH Food Protection Certificate a plus
- Excellent customer service skills and eager and positive
- Able to work early mornings and weekends which will be required with this role.
- Committed to incredible teamwork, able to balance team and individual responsibilities.
- Must be able to lift/move up to 10lbs, frequently lift/move up to 25lbs, and occasionally lift/move up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously
- Must be available Weekends
