Description **Chef Jonathan Benno and Pastry Chef Salvatore Martone seek individuals with strong work ethic and passion for cuisine to join his culinary team at Cafe Leonelli.**

**Opening this spring in the recently opened Nancy and Rich Kinder Building of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Cafe Leonelli will serve as the museum's all-day casual dining space.**

**This opportunity will allow culinary professionals the opportunity to work with a variety of cooking techniques and top-quality ingredients while working with an award winning team.**

**In addition to its savory offerings, the cafe will house an outpost of Frohzen, the Miami-based ice cream shop created by Salvatore Martone. Frohzens menu features ice cream cupcakes, macaron ice cream sandwiches, and cakesicles.**

**The Chefs bring Michelin-starred expertise to the line alongside Chef Stephen Conklin of Houston's La Table who will be running the kitchen.**

A **Pastry Cook** oversees assigned areas of culinary production and works service. This role supports the restaurant brand standards of food preparation, quality, cleanliness and teamwork. The Pastry Cook works under the direction of the Executive Chef and Pastry Chef and will be exposed to a variety of cooking techniques and ingredients.

The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of professional cooking experience in restaurants, or establishments of similar caliber. We seek individuals who pursue this career as a passion and a profession. Communication and teamwork are the base requirements for success in this role.
