About the role:
The Accounts Payable Clerk will support the Account Payable Lead with the entire purchase to pay cycle, will be instrumental in the procurement process and will liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
What you will support with:
- Processing and payment of vendor invoices and employee expense reports
- Processing payables, bank statements and preparing general ledger journal entries
- Stakeholder management between vendors and the company.
- Manage and keep record of the monthly and yearly accruals
- Reconciliation of the accounts payable ledger, deferred expense and accruals
- Understand relevant processes for Accounts Payable, and contribute to enhancing the existing procedures
- Procurement management: Manage the process for the creation and approval of new vendors and the purchase order process
- All Accounts Payable related accounting matters
What you have:
- Experience with the following software: Netsuite, ZIP, Rydoo, Microsoft Office
- Experience in similar role for at least 2 years, and accounts payable experience of 5 years
- Experience with processes and control related to AP processes
- Experience with VAT filing
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles (Dutch Gaap / IFRS)
- Finance Degree
