Burns Honda is Hiring a Human Resource Director Near Marlton, NJ

Human Resource Director

Performs duties at the professional level in the following functional level: managing recruitment, onboarding, FMLA management, employee relations, benefits administration, and HR policy and procedure development. The position requires an extremely perceptive person who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels within the organization. Must execute planning and developing systems and have real attention to detail. Must exhibit a high degree of professionalism and confidentially; have the insight to appreciate the unique needs of the workforce at all levels; be able to articulate strategies and policies clearly and concisely; exhibit a strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices and current regulations; and demonstrate a commitment to our mission.

Duties:

  • Responsible for HR policies, procedures and systems
  • Implements programs to help improve employee experience
  • Coaches, councils and guides managers before executing employee disciplinary actions
  • Responsible for employee off boarding to include preparing termination and severance letters
  • Provide leadership with regard to compensation and benefit plans. Manages yearly open enrollment period for benefit plans, arranges for on-site representation by providers and designees, distribution of materials, and communicates changes to employees.
  • Ensures compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification; periodically audits Forms I-9
  • Ensures compliance with state-specific human resources laws and legislation
  • Compiles and maintains appropriate statistical data/information and provide as required to the EEOC, OSHA, DOL, management team
  • Maintain confidentiality according to HIPAA and policy
  • Coordinates and participates in all required meetings and training sessions
  • Provide guideance with General and departmental managers with regard to employee retention and growth plans
  • Performs other duties as required or requested
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Five years of related experience with at least 2 years in a management position, and/or combination of comparable education and experience
  • Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) or SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred
