Description

Mid-Sized Central Phoenix law firm is seeking an experienced legal secretary with exceptional organizational skills. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in litigation and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in civil litigation is required. Knowledge of Arizona law, court rules and associated deadlines, along with the ability to e-file in various courts, is required. Must work well with clients and be detail oriented. Requirements

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Answering phones
• Organizing files
• Typing
• Docketing/Calendaring appointments, hearings and deadlines
• Document preparation and management
• Case management
• Coordination of and e-filing of court documents
• Time entry and billing using billing software

The ideal candidate will be a team player, dependable, self-starter who enjoys working closely with clients, other support staff and attorneys. Must be comfortable with technology, willing to learn new systems, and proficient in drafting basic correspondence, disclosure, discovery and pleadings.
