We have many exciting and extensive menus and love to make each meal a great experience for our customers. The Catering Specialist works closely with the Catering Manager to successfully achieve the department’s goals.

A typical day for a Catering Specialist may include : Operate the grill, fryers and related equipmentSet-up, organizes, and prepares food using established production procedures and systemsParticipation in catered eventsComply with sanitation, health and personal hygiene standards, and housekeeping to keep the work area cleanObserve proper food handling techniquesStore food properly and safely, mark the date and itemAssist the Food Truck or other foodservice departments as neededHandle cash, Take orders, and serve food to customersWe think you’d be great for this role if you embody the 6 Characteristics of a great Buehler’s teammate :

auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures; and can do simple math problemsAble to work within our deli / kitchen environment that includes equipment such as an oven, stove, dishwasher, slicer, coffee machine, steamer, mixer and chef’s knives so frequently you will be exposed to heat, steam, fire and noiseReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individual with disability to perform the essential function
