Brook Farm Veterinary Center is Hiring an Administrative Assistant Near Patterson, NY
Brook Farm Veterinary Center is hiring an Administrative/Personal Assistant to join our team. As an assistant, you’ll help us build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with pet owners by supporting our administrative team. Duties will include providing email and phone call support, handling special projects, and filling in for various hospital roles when needed. You will work closely with the hospital management team to facilitate efficient operations and ensure seamless communication within the organization. In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have a keen attention to detail and superb interpersonal skills. You should be able to ask questions, educate yourself, and share your knowledge with others. Flexibility and a willingness to jump in and help is essential. What You’ll Do
Provide administrative and personal support to the hospital management team, primarily the Hospital Director
Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings
Handle correspondence, including calls with clients
Assist with project management tasks, including research, data analysis, and presentation preparation
Assist with special projects and initiatives
Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations.
Assist with inventory, medications, and shipments
Assist with daily checklists and walkthroughs
Cover shifts at the front desk when needed
