Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for the following duties and tasks:

• Perform System Engineering activities related to design and development of Aviation Trainers.
• Candidate will perform functional, timeline and decision analyses
• Develop schedules and conduct gap/trade analyses and present findings/recommendations to higher authority and the customer. 
• Selected individual must be a self-starter and have successfully demonstrated system engineering skills
• Provide support in areas of schedule development, status schedule performance and will identify, track and mitigate technical and schedule risks
• Provide technical content review for both hardware and software requirement specifications
• Provide direct support in the development of performance specifications for future aviation simulator systems
• Provide technical support to IPTs for platform milestones (SRR, CDR, PDR, etc)

Minimum Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience of the requirement development and decomposition process

Minimum Experience

5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree

3 years of relevant experience with a Master's Degree

0 years of relevant experience with a PhD

Education/ Certifications

At minimum, candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or relevant technical field

Security Clearance

• This position requires an active DoD Secret Security Clearance government security clearance as a condition for placement and continued employment. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.
• Candidates selected for this position will be subject to a background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
