Data Management Lead |
Key Responsibilities: |
Su pport the Project Information Management Lead in the management of Project technical data in accordance with procedures and systems |
Maintain data specific PIM documentation (e.g. tag numbering specification, project tag class library) |
Accountable for tool configuration and user account administration for any BP tools deployed for data management |
Provide a service to manage and maintain project data in a consistent manner across project interfaces ensuring accuracy, completeness and integrity of data |
Develop data management processes to assure the integrity of project data |
Work with contractors data management team in establishing tools, and process to deliver data management to BP standards |
Lead a team of data controllers |
Provide training and guidance on project data management tools and processes |
Attend regular meetings with the contractors data management lead to ensure alignment on deliverables, their timeliness and quality |
Provide performance management metrics to Project Information Management Lead raising any issues/risks to data management delivery |
Experience & Skills: |
5-7 years of delivering data management services and managing teams through all stages of a project lifecycle |
Experience of working on projects in the oil and gas sector |
Experience of working in contractor and owner operator teams |
Experience using electronic engineering and data management systems for controlling and reporting project data |
Fluent in use of MS Excel and MS Access for data analysis/reporting |
Thorough understanding of engineering data and reference data libraries |
Engineering/Engineering systems background |
Excellent communication and influencing skills across all stakeholders |
Experience of working within large project organizations and performing effectively in a multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural environment |
Document Control Lead |
Key Responsibilities: |
Support the Project Information Management Lead in the management of project documentation in accordance with procedures and systems |
Maintain document specific PIM documentation (e.g. master document register, document distribution matrix) |
Accountable for tool configuration and user account administration for any BP tools deployed for document management |
Provide a service to manage and maintain project documentation control in a consistent manner across project interfaces covering receipt, audit, transmission, and distribution of documentation |
Work with contractors document control team in establishing tools, and process to deliver document control to BP standards |
Lead a team of document controllers |
Provide training and guidance on project document control tools and processes |
Attend regular meetings with the contractors document control lead to ensure alignment on deliverables, their timeliness and quality |
Provide performance management metrics to Project Information Management Lead raising any issues/risks to document control delivery |
Experience & Skills: |
7-10 years of delivering document control services and managing teams through all stages of a project lifecycle |
Experience of working on projects in the oil and gas sector |
Experience of working in contractor and owner operator teams |
Experience of establishing and implementing document management systems ranging from EDMS tools to manual systems |
Excellent communication and influencing skills across all stakeholders |
Experience of working within large project organizations and performing effectively in a multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural environment |
