Broadstone Bar & Kitchen is Hiring a Private Events Manager Near New York, NY

Job Description: As the Event Sales and Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing a wide range of events to attract new customers, increase revenue, and enhance our brand presence in the competitive NYC hospitality scene. You will collaborate closely with the management team to develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies tailored to our target audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing plans to drive event revenue and increase brand awareness.
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations with local businesses and organizations.
  3. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and industry contacts to ensure the success of events.
  4. Create compelling event proposals, presentations, and marketing materials to showcase our offerings to potential clients.
  5. Coordinate all aspects of event planning and execution, including venue selection, catering, entertainment, staffing, and logistics.
  6. Oversee the promotion of events through various channels, including social media, email marketing, advertising, and public relations.
  7. Monitor and analyze event performance metrics to evaluate the success of marketing campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in event sales and marketing, preferably in the hospitality or entertainment industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully planning and executing a variety of events, from small-scale gatherings to large-scale productions.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and social media platforms.
  • Knowledge of the New York City hospitality market and local event industry trends.
