POSITION PURPOSE:The Fleet Billing Specialist is responsible for the accurate, timely and high volume of billing and claim processing of fleet orders. Collects accurate billing information, Purchase Order Collection, Auditing of Fees and Labor Rate to insure accurate invoice processing. Ensures all Briggs Industrial Solutions standards are adhered to and executed consistent with company direction. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:Partner with branches to ensure timely processing of service claims to meet deadlinesAccurately audit service call information for invoicing Perform daily follow-ups with branches on aging service calls requiring additional information Submit claims / invoices through the appropriate system / portal per customer guidelines for revenue recovery Submit claims for invoices that are billed to a Fleet Account Actively monitor the appropriate system / portal for claims that are returned for revision and resolve Review internal Denied Claim Report to resolve claim issues and resubmit claim for revenue recovery Review internal variance report to identify, analyze and resolve billing, claims and revenue discrepancies Partner with internal / external customers to provide updates, clear outstanding balances and resolve billing / claim disputesStay up to date on changes to customer guidelines Perform other duties as assigned minimum qualifications Basic Knowledge & Competencies:Excellent customer service and multi-tasking skillsHigh attention to detail, to include precise data entryExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work with a high sense of urgency in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentProficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Previous Experience/Education:High School Diploma required, College Degree Preferred2 years’ experience in Collections and/or Accounts ReceivablesExperience with Microsoft SharePoint, web intranet software or other online procurement systems strongly preferred PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSWorking conditions are normal for an office environmentAbility to lift up to 20 pounds
