Summary

The Compliance Manager, Data and Systems reports to the Senior Director of Compliance and is responsible for set up and maintenance of compliance tracking systems for the portfolio, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of compliance set up in Yardi Voyager, in partnership with Yardi team
• Determine project specific Local Programs set up in Yardi Voyager
• Act as lead point of contact with Right Source for all new property set up
• Oversee Rent Café Affordable compliance set up
• Monitor and update Property rent and income matrices as income limits and utility allowances are updated
• Update Local Programs income and rent limits annually for portfolio
• Analyze final Regulatory Documents after Perm conversion and update systems accordingly
• Update property rent and income matrices as regulatory agreements expire or new financing restrictions are added
• Partner with Yardi team to test and refine system generated reports
• Analyze and track noncompliance and make appropriate mitigation recommendations
• Stay up to date on local, state and federal affordable housing compliance rules
• Prepare compliance reports as needed (such as HCD SRI reports, Focus reporting, and City Data Systems)

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge and experience with TCAC, HUD and other affordable housing regulations

• Experience with Yardi or similar property management software
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience in affordable housing compliance
• Working proficiency with Microsoft Office 
• Able to work with time sensitive material and meet multiple deadlines 
• Experience managing multiple projects
• High attention to detail 
• Good communication ability (verbal and written)
• Ability to work independently
