Construction Project Manager Position Summary:

Brickl Bros., Inc. is a 100% employee-owned innovative Design/Build General Contractor located near La Crosse, WI. We have a career opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with strong commercial/industrial construction management. Qualified candidates must oversee the development of building designs, estimates, bids, specifications and construction execution plans. Candidates must have demonstrated competence managing variably sized construction projects from inception to completion. Successful candidates must possess strong communication, collaboration skills, time management skills, and show above average technical aptitude.

Position Responsibilities

· Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements

· Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.

· Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.

· Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met.

· Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities.

· Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports

Required Education / Experience

· Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the construction of wood or steel structures in commercial, agriculture, warehouse, retail or industrial building trade.

· Bachelor’s degree in business management, construction management or related coursework is a plus. Minimum 4 years of project management experience in the construction industry.

· Experience leading medium to large commercial or industrial building projects.

· In-depth understanding of construction procedures, material and project management principles.

· Good knowledge of MS Office.

· Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.

· Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

· A team player with leadership abilities

· Valid driver’s license and insurable.
