Breck is seeking an energetic Strategic Communications Specialist who has experience in public relations, marketing, social media strategy, and writing. This position is responsible for leading and implementing communication tasks. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
· Collaborate with PM and Senior Communications Specialist to generate communications, engagement, content, branding strategy
· Support vision and implementation of strategic plans
· Aid in design and development of communications products, such as newsletters, presentations, document templates, and factsheets
· Support stakeholder engagement and feedback mechanisms
· Support strategy and content for webpages and coordinate posting with web team
· Support strategy and content for SharePoint
· Support survey design and deployment
· Guide event logistics and engagements/meetings strategy
· Support gap analysis
· Support Change Management initiatives
BENEFITS
REQUIRED
· Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in strategic communications or public relations
· Minimum of 5 years in marketing or social media strategy
· Minimum of 5 years in writing/editing
· Experience in Change Management (preference for Change Management certificate, i.e., CCMP)
· Experience in creating content for information campaigns, press briefings and editorials
· Capable of passing a federal agency background check
· US Citizenship
· Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
· Outgoing personality with the ability to build quick, strong relationships
· Strong interpersonal communicator through in-person, verbal, and written communication
· Able to receive and follow through on feedback and direction
· Goal-driven, accountable, and able to work within deadlines
· Resourceful multi-tasker
· Conceptual thinker with strong analytic skills
· Strong work ethic
